Wall heating systems KLS / RKL

Wandheizungsmontage

  • Multitherm wall heating system consist of a few components: wall heating pipe, terminal strip and distribution
  • Warranty on pipes 30 years
  • High operational safety due to easy handling and safe installation.

Installation

Benefits:

  • mild radiant heat
  • good controllability
  • no interfering radiators
  • energy-saving
  • wellbeing at 18-19 °C
  • time- and material savings due to low wall height

A heat output calculation according to Ö-Norm EN ISO 12 831 / H7500 mean temperature, flow, pressure drop and material requirements is done by our technicians.

Wall heating - wall cooling

A system with two-fold benefit; i.e. - heating in winter - cooling in summer!

With suited for both new and old buildings, as well as for rehabilitation.

Regardless of the type of heating or cooling water generation. Ideally suited for use with alternative energy sources. No problems with noise, dust clouds, etc. or any non-uniform temperature distributions.

PE-RT 14/2 DD Wall heating pipe

Install. distance:  10 cm

VL RL RT Heat output
35°C 30°C +20°C ca.   80 W/m²
45°C 40°C +20°C ca. 160 W/m²
55°C 50°C +20°C ca. 240 W/m²

Install. distance:  15 cm

VL RL RT Heat output
35°C 30°C +20°C ca.   60 W/m²
45°C 40°C +20°C ca. 120 W/m²
55°C 50°C +20°C ca. 200 W/m²

VL => supply temperature
RL => return temperature
RT => room temperature

Maximum circuit length per circuit approximately 80 m (including lead)

A benefit for every house and apartment users:

  • optimal indoor climate all year round through sensitive radiant heat in the winter heating and radiative cooling in summer mode

Required control devices:

  • Heating / cooling control
  • Room temperature sensor (including control unit)
  • Dewpoint
  • Actuator
  • Foreign and flow temperature sensor
  • Circulating pump, diverter valve, three-way blender

Construction:

  • Raw brick wall or plaster as required
  • Pipe terminal strip (KLS-14 - 18)
  • Three-layer PE pipe with oxygen barrier
  • Plaster (~ 10 mm above pipe crown top) plaster mesh with a mesh
    size of min. 7mm
  • Total plaster thickness: according to the pipe diameter

The total thickness of the plaster is composed of:

  • the thickest tube diameter
  • the distance from wall (terminal strip)
  • the thickness of the plaster above the pipe
  • the plaster thickness depends on the tube outer diameter, measured at the thickest point, such as connection sleeve

The wall heater is a heating and comfort of the most beautiful, hidden heating element. One can install a wall heater energy and save money.

Corresponding to standard session can be lowered to room temperature over a convection by about 3 ° C, the same with a good sense of comfort. Thus, the annual heating costs up to approximately 10% can be reduced.

 Installation notes:

  • Pipe diameter: PE-RT 14 / 2 to 18 / 2 mm
  • Terminal strip: KLS-14 to KLS-18 with a length of 3 m and a pipe laying distance
of 5 cm (or multiples) for horizontal or vertical mounting on the wall.
  • Pipe laying: Recommended installation spacing 10 or 15 cm

The Multitherm wall heating system should always be placed on the outside walls, but can be installed as needed to the corresponding inner walls. The corresponding U-value of the external wall should be no greater than 0.4 W / m² K.
